Our school in Playa de Muro has a long history, being the first approved and regular center of the Balearic Islands since 2009. We have our Kitesurf’s exclusive zone in the heart of Playa de Muro, in Alcúdia’s Bay. If what you want is to learn and to practice Kitesurf with space and far from the crowds of other kiters, this is one of the best places in Mallorca. Come and start with this kitesurf beginner course for children.
Our beginner Kitesurf course starts from zero or from the point in which you left the last time you practiced it. We will arrange meetings of 2 to 3 hours and will give you all the material you need. The courses are always in limited groups, of maximum 2 pupils per instructor, to guarantee 100% safety and to accelerate your learning in a professional way. Our professional instructors with a lot of experience will take you where you want to go.
We will begin on the coastline introducing concepts such as ” the wind window ” and will simulate the control of the kite and the safety systems with the bar control. You will learn how to mount your kitesurf equipment and to choose the best size of kite depending on your weight, level and the existing winds. You will control the kite in the water during its flight and you will be able to restart it if you lose control.
Do you already control the kite? So, are you ready to start using the power that a kite transmits, first put your body in the water with body drags and then learn the waterstart, during which you will stand up on the board. Once you control the navigating in both directions, you will begin navigating every time a little bit further until we teach you the tack or the change of direction. Having reached this point, we will concern ourselves with how you can go and come back to the starting point and even how you could gain windward and learn how to jibe.
