The great sandy beach of Playa de Muro with its shallow waters and without swell allow us to guarantee safe and high quality Windsurfing courses for the youngest of ages in order that they can begin in a safe and fun way.
The thermic winds in the Bay of Alcúdia and its large sandy beach provide a perfect environment to practice windsurf. During the early hours of the morning when there is a soft breeze, our sailing school will offer you a safe and fun beginning in windsurfing, in groups or individually. You will be able to learn this fascinating sport and then never want to stop.
We offer all sizes of modern sails, booms and boards, you can also sign up children, teenagers and adults, so this is a place for the whole family! Guided by our professional instructors you will learn all the necessary techniques to navigate in an independent and fun way. On the way you will also acquire the necessary knowledge, material and environment to learn windsurf in a fun way. With the absence of swell until midday and the rise in intensity of wind, makes it easy to get on board and raise the sail to take the first steps.
Once you are in a stable position with your board you can begin to move forward. When you starting taking the direction towards windward or leeward, you’ll control navigation to arrive and move with independence and safety, you will get to know the nautical basic codes, the parts of the equipment that you are using and to recognize wind and sea conditions in order to practice safely and respecting the environment.
Once you have achieved this course you will be able to rent windsurf material anywhere in the world in whatever stable wind and wave conditions. This way, you will be prepared for the advanced course in even more amazing wind conditions, equipment and maneuvers.
